Nurses are experiencing a tremendous amount of stress, anxiety, burnout, and PTSD.  Many have acknowledged the decline in their mental well-being while others have yet to speak openly about it.

Leaders have the power to normalize the conversation about mental health and create a “culture of safety” in the workplace.  A culture of safety is one where everyone (including leaders) feels safe speaking openly about mental health or substance misuse without fear of judgment, retribution, or job loss.

It is an honor to work with Benjamin Foster, Laurie Foster, Rama Walker, and the team at Nurseify, to deliver valuable resources that Support nurse well-being and Train nurse leaders how to create a culture of safety in their organization.

Now more than ever, we must arm our leaders with the tools to help identify a colleague in distress, the confidence to open the conversation about mental health and well-being, and the roadmap to crosswalk the employee to professional resources.

Lives depend on it.
