The 4 Pillars of Creating a Mentally Healthy Workplace is a training that teaches leaders how to create a culture of safety in the workplace.
A culture of safety is one where everyone feels safe speaking openly about mental health without fear of judgement, retribution or job loss.
Training can be delivered in-person, virtually, an on-demand online program, or a mix and match of the options.
Choose what works best for your organization.
the impact of unaddressed mental health and substance misuse in the workplace.
the lived experience to bring the human connection to mental health and substance misuse.
the perception of mental health in the workplace to decrease stigma.
create a safe workplace culture that fosters open dialog about mental health.
In addition to being a corporate trainer, I am a Speaker and State Trainer with National Alliance on Mental Illness for their “In Our Own Voice” program, a teacher in the “Family to Family” program, and a support group facilitator. I am also a member of the Dartmouth Hitchcock-Campaign to Combat Behavioral Health Stigma and Discrimination.
In hard numbers, that’s 17 million people who are struggling with
both mental wellness and substance misuse.
Seventeen million people who feel like they are alone in their struggle
and tried to manage it on their own, just like I did.
